Getting Started


Intro

This topic outlines the following steps:

Send Link
Registration links can be sent to service partners from the Crowd Marketplace app.
Fill Out Form
The prospective Crowd partner will then receive a link which will redirect to a form and prompted to enter some company information.
Receive Email
After the form has been completed, the prospective Crowd partner will then receive an email containing Cloud Account, User, and Initial Password information.
Login to App
Next, the Crowd partner will login to the application using the values provided in the registration email.
Enter Crowd Partner Master Data
Next, the Crowd partner will be prompted to enter all company and technician information, and upload relevant company documents and skills certifications in the Master Datat Management app.
Verify and Approve Company Info and Skills Certifications
Next, the Crowd owner will be able to verify and approve the company info, company documents, and skills certifications uploaded by the Crowd partner in the Crowd Member Management app.

Registration

After Receiving a link, a Crowd partner will then be prompted to complete the following registration process:

Account Registration



Field Description
Company Name Required. The name of the Crowd partner company.
Street name Required. The street name associated with the Crowd partner address.
Number Required. The street number associated with the Crowd partner address.
Zip code Required. The zip code associated with the Crowd partner address.
City Required. The city in which the Crowd partner is located.
Country Required. The country in which the Crowd partner is located.
Contact Person  
First Name Required. The first name of the Crowd partner contact.
Last Name Required. The last name of the Crowd partner contact.
Phone Number Required. The phone number of the Crowd partner contact.
Email Address Required. The email adress of the crowd partner contact.

When the Crowd partner has finished entering all information, click the Join button below the form.

Note: Upon selecting the Join button, the Crowd partner status will be Active in the Crowd Connections tab.


Account Creation

After the Account Registration form has been succesfully completed, you will then receive an email containing the following information:



Value Description
Cloud Account The name of the Crowd owner cloud account with which the Crowd partner is associated.
User Name The name of the user associated with Crowd partner account.
Initial Password The initial password generated by the application. This can be changed after initial login.

Initial Login

Using the link provided in the email, you will then be able to login to the SAP Crowd application:



Field Description
Account Name Read-only. The name of the Crowd Owner account.
User Name Required. The user name contained in the account registration email.
Password The initial password contained in the account registration email.

Crowd Partner Master Data

After the initial login, the Crowd partner will then be redirected to the Master Data Management application to enter the following information:

Crowd Partner Company Info

The Crowd partner will first need to enter the following company info from the Business Partner tab:



Field Description
General Information  
Active Indicator. Indicates that the Crowd partner is active.
Name The name of the Crowd partner (example: T-Service).
Language Dropdown. The language of the Crowd parnter (example: English).
Phone 1 The primary phone number of the Crowd partner.
Phone 2 If applicable, the secondary phone number of the Crowd partner.
Mobile phone The mobile phone number of the Crowd partner.
Email The email address of the Crowd partner.
Website If applicable, the Crowd partner website.
Addresses Note: This information is populated from the values entered in the Crowd partner registration form. Additional addresses can be entered by selecting the +sign.
Street The street on which the company is located.
City The city in which the company is located.
State The state or provence in which the company is located.
Zip Code The company ZIP code.
Country The country in which the company is located.
Notes  
Remarks Any remarks regarding the Crowd company
Attachments Here, the Crowd partner can upload all relevant company documents, such as Terms of Service, Operating License, etc. This information will then be verified and approved by the Crowd owner.
Skills Here, the Crowd partner can select which skills are associated with the company (example: coffee machine repair). This information will then be verified and approved by the Crowd owner.

Crowd Technicians

After entering the required company info, the Crowd partner will then be prompted to enter information for its technicians:



Field Description
Basic Information  
First name Required. The first name of the technician.
Last name Required. The last name of the technician.
User name Required. The user name of the technician. This user name is used in the mobile application.
Email Required. The email of the technician.
Mobile Required. The mobile phone of the technician.
Personal Information  
Picture Here, you can select or drag and drop a profile picture for the technician.
Contact Information  
Office phone If applicable, the office phone number of the technician.
Home phone If applicable, the home phone number of the technician.
Mobile phone If applicable, the mobile phone number of the technician.
Other phone If applicable, another phone number associated with the technician.
Skype ID If applicable, the Skype ID of the technician.
Fax If applicable, the fax number of the technician.
Pager If applicable, the pager number of the technician.
Addresses Note: This information is populated from the values entered in the Crowd partner registration form. Additional addresses can be entered by selecting the +sign.
Notes  
Remarks Any remarks associated with the technician (example: works only Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays).
Attachments  
  Here you can drag and drop any skills certifications or other attachments associated with the technician.
Skills Here you can select all skills assignments that apply to the technician. When you have selected all that apply, click the ADD button below.

Crowd Member Management

After the Crowd partner has entered all information for the company and technicians, the Crowd owner will be able to select the Crowd partner record form the My Connections tab:




Verify Crowd Partner Company and Technician Info

The Crowd owner will then be able to verify and approve the company and technician info entered by the Crowd partner:

The Crowd partner company info can be viewed in the About tab:



Note: Upon selecting the Join button after filling out the registration form, the Crowd partner status will be Active in the Crowd Connections tab.


Skills

The technician skills and certifications can be verfied and approved in the Skills tab.



Note: by checking the skills boxes, the application will then display a ✔. By checking the ✔, the skills association and certification will be approved.
