Crowd Service Marketplace


Attention: The Crowd Service Marketplace app uses a transaction-based pricing model, and must be enabled by an SAP Field Service Management consultant to be available for use.

In a Nutshell

The Crowd Workforce is used to view and manage Crowd service partner records and additional settings such as branding, partner status, and partner invitation.

When a service partner has accepted an invitation, created company profile and partner manager user, their record will then appear here.


The Crowd Marketplace can be navigated to by clicking the Crowd Workforce option from the apps menu :




Manage Service Crowd

Invite Crowd Service Partner

The Crowd owner can invite Crowd partner by email:



The partner will receive an invitation email containing the invitation URL.



By clicking BECOME A PARTNER, the partner will be prompted to fill out a form and go through the account creation and company profile steps described in the following topic.

To enable the feature of inviting partner by email, the crowd owner needs to upload the standard invitation email sending business rule template and can customize the email template under the example business rule based on their own needs.



Alternatively, the crowd owner can generate the invitation URL, and copy and paste the URL directly to the partner.



By clicking the URL, the partner will then be prompted to fill out a form and go through the partner company creation and partner manager creation steps described in the following topic.

Partner Registration Setting

The Crowd owner can navigate to Settings > Partner Registration and customize the following:

  • Company logo
  • Crowd name
  • Crowd description
  • Acknowledgement setup



The company logo, crowd name, and crowd description will be displayed in the partner registration form. The company logo will also be displayed in the Partner Portal.

The uploaded Privacy Statement and Terms & Conditions by the Crowd owner will be displayed in the partner registration form. The partner needs to read and accept those agreements before joining.



Partner Portal Setting

The Crowd owner can navigate to Settings > Partner Portal and customize the contact details that will be displayed in the Partner Portal.





Crowd Workforce Setting

The Crowd owner can navigate to Settings > Crowd Workforce and customize the following elements:

  • General Settings
    • URL settings
    • Partner status
    • External links
  • Skills
  • Partner Groups

General Settings


URL Settings


The Crowd owner can customize the partner portal URL and partner registration URL.



The customized partner portal URL will be displayed in the invitation URL.



The customized partner registration URL (BECOME A PARTNER) will be contained in the ivitation email.




Partner Status


The initial partner status is New. The Crowd owner can add new partner status based on their own needs.

Note: The status of all partners that newly joined will be set as NEW.

By clicking one of the partners under My Connections, the Crowd owner can view the partner details and set up the predefined partner status.




External Links


The Crowd owner can define the external links for technicians.



The defined external link will be displayed on the partner technicians page.



Skills

The Crowd owner can set skills to Shared so that partners can set up skills for technicians in Partner Portal.



Partner Groups

The Crowd owner can define the contact person based on partner group.

Before using this feature, define business partner group as supplier type in Master Data app first.



Then select the contact for each partner group.



After finishing the above configuration, go to My Connections, click a certain partner and define the partner group for this partner in the detail page.



Then the corresponding contact information will be displayed in the partner portal.



When the Crowd owner has multiple managers to manage different partners, each partner can see the information of the contact.


Manage Service Partners

Under My Connections tab, the Crowd owner can view and manage all service partners. The Crowd owner can quickly search the target partner(s) by using the filter based on the following criteria:

  • Active
  • City
  • Country
  • Status
  • Document approval status

Active


The Crowd owner can search the active or inactive partner(s) as needed.




City


The Crowd owner can search the partner(s) based on their located city.




Country


The Crowd owner can search the partner(s) based on their located country.




Status


The Crowd owner can search the partner(s) based on the status that was defined under Settings > Crowd Workforce > Partner Status.




Document Approval Status


The Crowd owner can search the partner(s) based on the approval status of the uploaded documents, such as Pending (means the documents are waiting for review by the Crowd owner), Approved, or Declined.



When clicking a certain partner, a window with all details of this partner pops up. Under History, the Crowd owner can view and check all updates for this partner.




Manage Partner Technicians

Under Partner Technicians tab, the Crowd owner can view a list of all technicians. When clicking a certain technician, a column page with all details of this technician expands. Under Skills, the Crowd owner can manage the skills for technicians. Under History, The Crowd owner can view and check all updates for this technician.







The Crowd owner can quickly search the target technician(s) by using the filter based on the following criteria:

  • Crowd type
  • Partner code
  • Partner name
  • Plannable
  • Skill approval status
  • Skills

Crowd Type


The Crowd owner can search the technician(s) or partner manager based on the crowd type.




Partner Code


The Crowd owner can search the technician(s) that belong to a specific partner code.




Partner Name


The Crowd owner can search the technician(s) that belong to a specific partner name.




Plannable


The Crowd owner can search the plannable technician(s).




Skill Approval Status


The Crowd owner can search the technician(s) based on the approval status of the uploaded skills.




Skills


The Crowd owner can search the technician(s) who has specific skills.



In addition, the Crowd owner can save filters that are in frequently usage by following these steps:

  1. Choose Save filter as in the top right corner.
  2. Enter a filter name and choose Save.
  3. Choose the filter icon and you can see your saved filter in the list.
