In a Nutshell The Alerts module is the module used to view alerts generated by the application, such as scheduled activities and notifications (such as service call checkouts). When the module is selected, users can select between a Calendar view and an All view. The Calendar view will display a monthly calendar. Days with scheduled appointments will include a point indicator. From the Calendar view, users can select the “Activities Scheduled for Today” link, which will redirect to a view listing the day’s appointment ordered by time. By selecting an individual record, the application will display the following: The All view will display a full list of all Alerts, with most recent alerts displaying first. Field Description BP Code The Business Partner code associated with the activity. Contact Person Name The name of the contact person (First Name, Last Name). Telephone The contact person telephone number. Remarks Remarks regarding the activity (example: “service call signed on mobile device”). Attention: For the iOS app there is a configuration called Show conflicts where UDF values are null in Mobile app but not null in Cloud. By default the configuration is not active and will not allow visibility of all null data conflicts for UDFs (empty value of UDFs only on mobile side) that occur when syncing mobile app data to the Cloud, and direct Field Service mobile users to the conflict screen. By activating it, UDFs that have a null value on the Field Service mobile platform and not an empty value on Cloud will be displayed as conflicts.
