System Events (QSG)

In a Nutshell

System Events is a powerful feature built to monitor and manage errors that may occur for clients operating an Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) such as SAP Business One in the background.

The interface displays the following Error Information:

Field Description
Error If applicable, the error code returned by the server
Object Type The impacted object type (example: Address, Item, Business Partner)
Description The error description returned by the server.
Date The date on which the error occurred.
Person The account/user who created, modified, or deleted object information that resulted in an error.
Resend By selecting this option, the application will attempt to re-synchronize with the ERP server and commit the changes made to the listed object.
Revert By selecting this option, the application will revert the object record to its pre-error state.

With this information, administrators can then either attempt RESEND, which will re-synchronize the data and commit to the ERP server, or REVERT the changes back to the state they were in prior to the error.

Why do I use it?

The System Events module gives you a powerful interface to manually control data synchronizations that occur between multiple systems. With it, you can view errors and take action accordingly.

How Do I use it?

Users must have a ERP Connector license in order to access and use the System Events feature.

When a connection between the Coresystems Cloud and the ERP Connector has been successfully made, the System Events will display any errors that occur during synchronization between the two systems. Users can then select whether they want to resend the data, or revert the data back to a previous state.
