Web Portal

In a Nutshell

The web-based Web Portal allows you to view equipment records and request service requests.

Note: To access the web portal, you must have a portal user account.


A Closer Look

The web portal consists of the following tabs:

Overview


From this tab, you can view the latest updates of the service requests.

Both open and finished requests will include the following information:

Field Description
Subject The subject of the service request.
Status The current status of the service request that will be highlighted.
Date The date on which the service request was created or, when completed, the date on which it was closed.
Equipment The equipment record associated with the service request.

Service Requests


From this tab, you can take a closer look at a service request.


Service Appointment

The current status of the request will be displayed (example: Travel).

By selecting Show history, all previous information related to this request will be displayed.


Details

By selecting Details, the following information will be displayed:

Field Description
Details  
Subject The subject of the service request.
Description A description of the issue.
Service Call Code The code assigned to the service request.
Service Call Priority The priority level assigned to the service request (options include: HIGH, MEDIUM, and LOW).
Service Call Status Name The current status of the service request.
Service Call Origin Name The origin of the service call request (example: web).
Service Location  
Street The street associated with the service request.
Street Number The street number associated with the service request.
Zip The ZIP code associated with the service request.
City The city associated with the service request.
Country The country associated with the service request.
Requester  
First Name The first name of the person that requested the service.
Last Name The last name of the person that requested the service.
Email The email address of the person that requested the service.

Equipment


From this tab, you can view equipment records. You can search the equipment that you want by business partner.

When an equipment record is selected, the application will display the following information:

Field Description
Details  
Equipment Code The code assigned to the equipment record.
Equipment Name The name of the equipment record.
Equipment Serial Number The serial number associated with the equipment record.
Equipment Serial Number 2 If applicable, the additional serial number associated with the equipment.
Paired URL The unique URL paired to this equipment record. This information won’t be displayed if no URL was paired by the admin.
Contact The name and email address of the contact. This information won’t be displayed if no contact was maintained.
Location The location of the equipment.

In addition, you can also see the following buttons:

Button Description
Show Open Service Requests By clicking this button, you will be directed to all open service requests related to this equipment.
Request Service By clicking this button, you will be prompted to go through all the steps of creating a service request.
